Hello pharmacy tech members!

So I want to take this time to give you guys some words of encouragement. I know studying for the PTCB exam can be stressful and confusing but this is something that can be done. I want to give out some studying advice or tips however you take it. I recommend not to crash you brain by studying numerous of hours a day. I usually recommend to study 1 to 2 hours a day, break the hours even such as 1hr in the morning and the other hr in the afternoon, whatever fits in your schedule. I know some of you's are parents so I know studying more than 2 hrs a day will be a handful. For those who are not parents, you probably have more time to study. All I'm saying if you feel so tired and stress please do not study that particular day because as you study under stress your mind tends to wonder off and would be hard to concentrate and can easily cause an headache. There will be times when you feel you can't do this or just simply can't go on studying because you do not understand how to calculate a certain problem, please take a 5-10 minute break to refresh your mind, DO NOT GIVE UP because you do not understand the problem just keep reading it over and over find methods to solve them ask for help as well, also eat a snack. Eating a handful of nuts everytime you study can boost your energy and cause good concentration. But to get these results you would have to eat nuts daily, just a handful. Walnuts is a good example or almonds! :-)  Please take your time studying and try to understand the questions. Keep going over them until you are comfortable to move on. Hope this advice helps you! FYI: Studying with a friend or family member will also help you relieve some pressure and just have fun with it but take it serious at the same time.
